Networking Etiquette Skills: 8 ways to give a great first and lasting impression at business socials
Many people are nervous and unsure of themselves when attending networking events and business socials. But, you are continually making a first impression when you attend these events. Rachel will share 8 steps you can take that are simple, savvy, smart - including introducing yourself confidently, breaking into ongoing conversation groups, making small talk, projecting good body language, and business card protocol. You will leave with greater confidence when attending these events and know how to project a greater first and lasting impression. And, the good news, you don't have to be an extrovert! Everyone can master these skills with some practice.
Note: Those wishing to avoid the gaming floor (and smoke!) are encouraged to use the east port-cochiere / “Joint” Theater entrance. Valet parking may be available at that time of the evening on that side of the facility (not sure if it’s weekends only).
