Social media practitioners didn’t invent social learning. This has always been one way learners, well, learn. Consider native drumming, quilting circles, organized religious practicesundefinedand more. We just now have some additional tools to make it possible to broaden the learner’s circle of influence and networking options.

Join us for this SIG devoted to the distance-based, collaborative peer learning modules project (beta) as one method of bringing learning to new Brookdale Senior Living executive directors around the country.

Your Facilitator is Dawn Mahoney, CPLP and Performance Consultant with Brookdale Senior Living. Dawn’s work life finds her in any one of at least 16 states at any given time, where she works with associates to create and execute a training and development program at their respective communities (buildings). Dawn also works with teams who are having communication issues and challenges that impede their success together. Dawn is a life-long learner who enjoys giving back to this profession that has provided her with a career and so much more!
