Language is one of the most powerful tools we have as humans. It is our primary tool for expression and communication. It binds us. It instructs us. It divides us. It enables us to communicate our wishes, feelings, likes, dislikes, and ideas. It allows us to interact with others. 

Did you know the language we choose to use signals information about our attitudes towards others, ourselves, and the situations in which we find ourselves?

What to expect: 

  • The first few minutes of the meeting will be reserved for some updates from ATD and introductions to those on the call. 
  • The Zoom meeting link will be sent to you the week of the event.
  • We encourage you to use video to join the call if you can, to make it feel like an in-person meeting.
  • The Zoom call will be available to sign-into beginning at 11:45 a.m. CDT so you can log on early to test your audio or get acquainted with the other attendees before the call.
